Cindy Gottlieb originally studied Oboe at Smith College and at the New England Conservatory of Music under Fred Cohen (BSO). It wasn’t until much later that she discovered her affinity for the Sax and Jazz.  She now plays in different groups of varied instrumentation, Solo, Duo, Jazz-Combo, Saxophon Quartett, Big Band. One of her favorite projects is SaxKonträr. The privilege of being able to play music with her son makes it  an affair of the heart!

Danny Gottlieb, unable to resist his musical fate, studied electric bass guitar and double bass at the Hamburg School of Music. He has since played in many formations,  in the „plattdeutsche“ rock band „Die Tüdelband“ and Pure Fruit Orchestra. His currently provides the groove for the Dukes and Dukies.
