Polkadots dominate when these four charming saxophonists take over the stage. Moonbeams follow as soon as their saxes start to sing and swing and dreamy ballads send the audience into blissful reverie. Not long ago proud tangos marched their way into Frollein Sax’s repertoire and won over the ladies’ hearts with that special blend of southamerican temperament, chutzpah, and a hint of machoism. The program, (continually extended and improved) includes Jazz-Standards, of course, as well as ingenious pop arrangements, film music and classical jewels.
